To be honest, I only took the medication for a short amount of time but I didn’t really feel like it did anything for me. I know that for many people they “claim” it works wonders for anxiety but for anything else I am really not sure how effective it is.
I thought lexapro worked well for my depression at the time and it seemed that it got into your system quickly, meaning that you didn’t have to wait two weeks for it to take effect like most anti-depressants.
Overall, I think everything depends on the person and what they are personally dealing with as you probably know. Definitely discuss this with your doctor because different medications work for different people.
And how do you deal with someone who is wigging out because of stopping it cold turkey?
