I just started taking Effexor XR last week. I will take my 5th pill tonight. The first 2 days I really only felt the negative effects of it. Headaches, foggy head, teeth clenching. I have taken Effexor XR and it was not the medication for me. However, it did help my ex immensely. As for reaction time, there are people who are known as “hyper-reactors”, who begin to feel the effects of the medication almost immediately. This is the way I am. When I took Effexor it made me more nuts than I already was, almost immediately, lol. But when I got on the correct medication, I also reacted to it immediately.

I’ve been on Effexor for about two years. I take the highest dosage (150mg) and I feel I have gained weight on the drug. Not only that, but I feel exhausted all the time. I also sweat more than I ever have in my life, definetly at night. Are you experiencing any of the same symptoms?
