i just started a new medication- Geodon. I had never heard of it. i am replacing the Abilify with it. i am taking geodon now along with Lamictal.

I took it for a while before switching to Abilify. It’s in the same classification of drugs. I had to stay on a pretty low dose. My doctor started me on too high a dose and I was completely dizzy and drugged-out that first day and then refused to take it again until I had smaller pills. It helped me mentally once I was on the right dose, but I didn’t stay on it for very long because I had almost constant nausea and/or heartburn, which I couldn’t handle.
